Losing weight has now passed quitting smoking as the number one New Year's Resolution that people choose. Previously it had some pretty strong contenders such as; Stop Drinking, Make More Money and Start Saving. This year's new years resolution surveys are already coming back in now and the top two are; Pay off or reduce credit card debt and Lose Weight or start working out. If your New Years Resolution is to Lose Weight you must concentrate on that goal.
Obviously these are all important and since you probably picked number one or number two for your personal New Years Resolution choice then you are probably thinking how you are going to do this? Paying off credit cards may take you years, so let's concentrate on the issue of losing weight shall we? Well, first we need to pick the amount of weight or fat we wish to reduce and either turn to muscle or have it vanish into thin (very thin) air? Of course if you lose too much weight you will have to go out and buy new clothes and therefore you will not be able to cut up those credit cards just yet. Now tell yourself that; "MY New Years Resolution is to Lose Weight!"
It is often recommended to take the weight off in sections. First concentrate on 15-20 Lbs and see how that goes. If you look good at that point then you can develop a simple work-out program, which includes some walking, jogging or aerobics about 30-45 minutes per day to keep the weight off. You need to set your strategic goal and moderate your food intake and implement a work out program. A proper diet and exercise can work wonders. Think on this.
