A little dry ice can give you a foggy backdrop that sets the mood. Your local party store should carry scary sounding music, graveyard signs and everything else you will need for your event. You can ask the parents to come back and chaperone trick or treating after the party in your neighborhood. That way the kids can walk together and you can get to know their friend's parents. It can be fun for everyone!

A visit to your local pumpkin patch is also a great way to get in the mood for fall. It can be fun deciding whether to choose a small or large pumpkin. Whichever you choose, carving it is fun too. You can bake and salt the seeds for an extra tasty treat. Pumpkin patches are a wonderful place to take lasting family photos. The orange color tones and a coordinating outfit make for wonderful memories in your annual album.

Most cities offer great fall festivals, craft shows and city sponsored Halloween events. So get out and enjoy the beautiful weather with your family. With a little planning, you can make this Halloween a year to remember!
